Dwight H Hamilton, 51 yo, born October 18^th, 1970, Lexington, KY; departed, April 26^th, 2022, Bath, NC.

Dwight grew up in Greenville, attending St. Peters, EB Aycock, DH Connelly, and Hargrave Military Academy.  He graduated with a degree in Construction Management from FSU, Jacksonville, FL.

His work included many water management projects, rebuilding the levees, post Katrina in New Orleans and restoration of the Kissimmee River near Lake Okeechobee.

He is survived by his parents, Gene and Sumiko Hamilton; sister, Kathy Spencer; son, Evan Hamilton; nephew, Joshua Branch; and nieces, KateLynne and Kristine Spencer.

His many interests included: catching and eating all types of seafood, crabs being a favorite; feeding and watching the birds; and collecting and sharing many items where he saw value and others did not.  He had an artist’s eye.

When he returns, he will fly in as a bird.  Go well, Dwight.  It has been quite a journey.  Love you, Mom and Dad.

Private Memorial Service will be held at Bath,  June 18^th, 2022.
