Mrs. Annie Laura Boyd Price, age 82, a resident of Pinetown, NC died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service was held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Everetts Church of Christ officiated by Dennis R. Davis. Burial followed in the Boyd Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Pinkham, Jim Woolard, Gary Chrismon, Tim Boyd, Gregory Ormond and Butch Oliver. Honorary pallbearers were Fernie Oliver, Steve Dickerson and Glen Price.

The family received friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Everetts Church of Christ and other times at the home.

Mrs. Price was born in Beaufort County on June 22, 1939, daughter of the late Ferrell Vance Boyd and the late Callie Phrocine Windley. She was a 1957 graduate of Bath High School. On June 11, 1957, she married Robert Evins Price, Sr. who preceded her in death on December 17, 2021. They shared sixty-four years together before Mr. Price’s death. She, along with her late husband, was the co-owner and co-operator of Price Auto Sales and Price Grocery for over fifty-five years. Mrs. Price was an active member of Everetts Church of Christ as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include two sons: Robert “Bobby” Price, Jr. and wife Anita and William Lane Price and his wife Pam all of Pinetown; a brother: Robert Ferrell Boyd of Greenville; two sisters: Alma Christine Oliver and her husband Fernie of Pinetown and Barbara Helen Young of Spring Hope; four grandchildren: Robert E. Price III and wife Sarah, Katie Elizabeth Price, William L. Price, Jr., and Bethany Price Kirk; two step-grandchildren: Elizabeth Sparrow Hughes and Ethan Sparrow; and six great grandchildren: Caleb Kirk, Nathan Kirk, Ada Grace Kirk, Grady Bright, Jaxon Hughes, and Isaiah Strader.
