Mrs. Thelma Lorraine Keech Keech, age 86, a resident of Free Union Church Road, Pinetown, N.C., died Thursday, September 1, 2022, at ECU Health Beaufort Campus in Washington.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17^th, 2022, at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church 4961 on Free Union Church Road, N.C. 27865.

Mrs. Keech was born in Pitt County on February 28, 1936.  She was the daughter of the late Leland Franklin Keech and Thelma Baynor Webster Keech.  Mrs. Keech was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Free Union Free Will Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary.  In her spare time, Mrs. Keech enjoyed gardening and reading.

On July 29, 1955, she married Glennwood Earl “Glenn” Keech, who preceded her in death, March 13, 2018.

Surviving are her daughter, Lorenda Baker and her husband, David of Chesapeake, VA.; son, Russell Keech of Chesapeake, VA; two grandchildren, Sara Willis and husband, Early, and Amber Perry and husband, Kevin; and six great grandchildren, Christian Willis, Harlan Willis, Hailey Willis, Harper Willis, Maverick Perry, and David Baker III.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to Free Union Free Will Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary, 4961 Free Union Church Road, Pinetown, N.C.  27865.
