Jeanne Mason Jennings, 78, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed from this life to her eternal home on the 21^st of September 2022.

Mrs. Jennings was born in High Point, North Carolina, on January 27, 1941, to Robert Courtsworth Mason and his wife Maxie Brigman Mason.  Jeanne grew up in High Point, attending High Point High School.  Jeanne graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1967; she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority.  She wed Neill Archibald Jennings, Jr., in March of 1988.  Mrs. Jennings is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Randy Mason, and her stepmother, Marie Mason.

Jeanne was a loving sister, stepmother, aunt, and a beloved grandmother.  She had a giving spirit and a caring heart; she was quick to make friends and never hesitated to lend a hand.  Jeanne was an avid traveler – visiting Egypt, Greece, Spain, and other countries over her lifetime – a devoted writer of letters, and an ardent reader.  None of Jeanne’s passions surpassed her love for her five grandchildren, who knew her as GranJeanne; they were her pride and her joy.

Mrs. Jennings is survived by her husband Neill; her two stepsons Archie, and wife Lydie Pitts Jennings, of Little Washington, NC, and Duncan, and wife Ashley Jane Jennings, of Raleigh, NC; by her sister Sandy Mason Johnston and husband Pickens of Rock Hill, SC; her stepbrother Sam Mason; her dear grandchildren Sarah Bradley Jennings, Neill Archibald Jennings IV, Henry Birchett Jennings, Lewis MacLean Jennings, and Isla Woodward Jennings; her dog Jules, and very caring friends, and devoted neighbors.
