Former Northside standout Raydarius Freeman made the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Conference first team as a defensive lineman. The Belhaven native is a redshirt junior at Chowan University in Murfreesboro. The 6’3 220 Freeman helped the Hawks to a 7-1 league record, 7-4 overall and a spot in the CIAA championship game where they lost 31-28 to Fayetteville St. on a last second field goal. He made 25 solo tackles, assisted on 29, had 17.5 tackles for loss and collected five quarterback sacks.  (Chowan University Athletics)
