On May 30, 2023 Jason John Schutt was located and arrested by the Bridgeton Police Department and transferred to Beaufort County deputies with the assistance of the Craven County Sheriff’s Office for warrant service.  Schutt was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under 3 bonds totaling $40,000 secured. Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Bridgeton PD and Craven County Sheriff’s Office as well as Beaufort County Crime Stoppers for the hard work in getting this wanted person off the street.
