PERSONAL BEST: Northside senior Andrew Harding clocked a personal record of 15:41 in the Friday Night Lights cross country invitational in Kernersville last week. Harding finished ninth among the top 296 runners in the state on the state championship course and defeated his top 1A rival by 20 seconds after finishing second to him in the state meet last fall.

“Andrew’s work ethic is unmatched, and his quiet leadership and dedication inspires our team every day,” Northside coach Casey Schulte said. “He’s a full-time student with a full-time job and also finds time to run half marathons just for fun.”
