When Judge Parker first envisioned the Adult Drug Treatment Court, she shaped not merely a program but an enduring commitment to the transformation of lives; a vision that continues to serve as a beacon of hope, resilience, and justice. This vision was realized through the collective beliefs and efforts of judges, treatment providers, community advocates, and individuals across Martin, Tyrrell, Washington, Beaufort, and Hyde counties, all bound by a shared conviction that substance use disorder doesn’t define one’s life. Together, the Team believed in the potential for restoration, the possibility of renewal, and the strength that arises when people are offered a path forward with purpose and dignity, practicing fairness over finality in each participant’s life.

Today, the Adult Drug Treatment Court embodies that vision, serving not only as vital resource for those striving to overcome substance use disorders (SUD), but as a pillar of strength for our communities. It is more than a therapeutic intervention program, it is a sanctuary, structured yet compassionate, designed to empower participants to regain control of their lives, to heal relationships, and to reintegrate as valued and resilient members of society. The court’s mission resonates deeply across the counties it serves, creating a ripple effect that extends to families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and generations to come.

With the 2025 Winter Gala on the horizon, we stand ready to continue this journey ahead. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to ensure that this vital work can endure, evolve, and reach even more individuals in need. Thanks to the generosity of devoted supporters, we are already two-fifths of the way to this goal, and their faith in our mission propels us forward, inspiring us to achieve an even greater impact. Every contribution is more than a financial gift; it is a tangible affirmation of the belief in human resilience and the commitment to sustained recovery.

OUR MISSION: TRANSFORMATION, RESTORATION, AND LASTING IMPACT:

The Adult Drug Treatment Court is more than a response to addiction; it is a movement toward transformation that bridges the gap between aspiration and tangible change. By offering a structured program encompassing therapeutic services, accountability, and personal support, we provide participants with tools to rebuild their lives and renew their sense of purpose. Serving five counties, our program impacts individuals, families, and entire communities, cultivating a network of recovery, understanding, and hope.

BUILDING A LEGACY OF HOPE AND STRENGTH:

Supporting the Adult Drug treatment Court is more than addressing a current need; it is about establishing a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering support. Through this program, families are reunited, careers are restored, and futures are reimagined. It is a legacy for which the time has come, a movement for our time and for all time. By helping us achieve our goal, you become part of a generational story, one where healing is celebrated, resilience is honored, and recovery is possible.

The 2025 Winter Gala is not simply an evening but an invitation to stand beside us in realizing the power of community-driven change. It is a call to those who believe in justice, in second chances, and in the enduring capacity of people to rebuild and renew. Together, let us further the vision that Judge Parker and countless supporters set in motion. Together, let us ensure that this program remains a beacon for those who seek a new beginning.
