Chocowinity boys, Bath girls win first Inner Banks Athletic Conference tournament

Bath’s girls and Chocowinity’s boys won their respective games in the first Inner Banks Athletic Conference tournament, which concluded on Thursday.

Bath’s girls topped Bear Grass, holding on for a 25-22 victory. Chocowinity’s boys also beat Bear Grass, winning 43-31. The Indians pulled away after leading 16-15 at the half.

Chocowinity’s boys have also won seven straight regular-season titles.
