Crystal meth, fentanyl, marijuana, cash and firearms seized from Blounts Creek home

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Raleigh executed a search warrant at a residence on Old Saw Mill Rd in Blounts Creek, NC.
Deputies seized approximately 14.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 31 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of marijuana, $3,353 in cash, and multiple firearms. Deputies also recovered an ATV that was previously stolen from a residence in Beaufort County.
This case concluded a month-long investigation into the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and the DEA.
The following individuals were charged as a result of this search warrant:
48-year-old Dennis Clemons of Brooklyn, NY was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 Cash Only Bond for the following charges:
-(1) count of Trafficking Methamphetamine
-(1) count of Felony Conspiracy
46-year-old Alan Craig Doyle of Blounts Creek, NC was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 secured Bond for the following charges:
-(1) count of Trafficking Methamphetamine
-(1) count of Trafficking in Fentanyl
-(1) count of Felony Conspiracy
-(1) count of Felony Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep/Sell Controlled Substances
-(1) count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
53-year-old Rodney Allen Townsend of New Bern, NC was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured Bond for the following charge:
-(1) count of Felony Possession of Schedule II CS (Fentanyl)
42-year-old Matthew David Gibble of New Bern, NC was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured Bond for the following charge:
-(1) count of Felony Possession of Schedule II CS (Fentanyl)
