Edward man, woman arrested on drugs, firearm and stolen property charges

On Monday February 24, 2025, members from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and the Craven County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on residence on Main Street Extension in Edward, NC.
This search warrant stemmed from Craven County Detectives learning that stolen items from recent breaking
and entering’s in their county were located at a residence in Beaufort County.
During the search, deputies recovered multiple stolen items along with 34 grams of fentanyl, 28 grams of cocaine and several firearms.
41-year-old Jamale Antwon Stilley of Edward, NC was arrested and charged with:
-(1) count of Trafficking in Opium/Heroin (Fentanyl)
-(1) count of Trafficking in Cocaine
-(1) count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
47-year-old Rhonda Marie Jones of Edward, NC was arrested and charged with:
-(1) count of Felony Possession of Schedule II CS (Fentanyl)
-(1) count of Felony Maintain a Dwelling to Keep and Sell Controlled Substances
-(1) count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Jamale Antwon Stilley and Rhonda Marie Jones were also charged with Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, Conspiracy to Obtain Property by False Pretenses, Possession of Stolen Goods and Possession of a Stolen Firearm by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office. Stilley and Jones were taken into custody and served by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office.
Beaufort County Sheriff Scott Hammonds stated “We are fortunate to have a great working relationship with our neighboring counties. With a teamwork approach, the Detectives from Craven County Sheriff’s Office and Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office were able to link these property crimes to our local drug dealers and hold them accountable.”
