This is a statement that has been said for many centuries, and many say it today, however, one of the most important things in saying God will take care of you, is believing God will take care of you.
Believing it will give it life and our personal address as well as a personal invitation to stay with us. Everyone has a history of some type of situation and initially had no idea where the solution was going to come from or when it was going to come.
However, it came in time and on time with the right number of resources that were needed to fix the situation and make the way of escape. We as a society sometimes get caught in the fast lane of life trying to build our financial world that it blinds us from actually seeing God in our lives.
Many of our parents prayed earnestly for our physical and spiritual well-being, and even though some of them have gone on to be with the Lord, God is still honoring their prayers. This is allotting us time to get on the band wagon of beginning to pray, trust, and believe that God will take care of us.
God will take care of you is a very broad statement. It can cover every aspect of our life. It’s also a hymn that’s sung or ministered in the local church. You will find the vast majority of hymns are basically someone’s situation in life, and through such it inspired them to write. This is what puts hymns at much higher elevations than a regular gospel song.
In 1904 a couple by the name of Mr. and Mrs. Stillman Martin, He was a Baptist evangelist and was summoned to preach a Sunday morning message. That particular Sunday morning his wife became so ill that Mr. Martin considered cancelling his preaching engagement.
Their young son spoke and said to his father “don’t you think by preaching God’s word He will take care of mother while you are away?” “Needless to say,” Mr. Martin went to preach, when he returned, he found his wife had greatly improved.
The same evening his wife, after hearing such profound words from their young son, composed the words to a hymn entitled “God will take care of you.”
This incident was the full essence that gave life to this hymn. For the sake of Mr. Martin finding his wife’s health has greatly improved was the mere power of God.
As we look throughout the Bible, there’s innumerable situations and events that show us God’s power as it relates to the physical, mental, financial and spiritual.
To name a few: The woman with the issue of blood, the passing and resurrection of Jairus’ daughter, the resurrection of Lazarus, and the calling of light into existence before the second heaven was created and implemented. The list just keeps going.
The Book of Hebrews 13:8v. explains to us that Jesus will never change, as He was from the beginning, He’s the same now and will be forever.
With this being said “I say to each of you, you can trust God and know He will forever take care of you, just believe it.”
We don’t have to resort to violence, disrespectful words or behavior. Put you trust solely in God for He is all you need. Keep in mind what the Apostle Paul told the church at Corinth, 2Corinthians 10:4v.
The resources of our spiritual warfare/fight/situation are not tangible, they are through a trusting, everlasting and carrying God, He can fix every situation and mend every broken part of your life and even those you are interceding for.
As one of my God-fearing members, Sis. TyShenna Minor, that’s gone home to be with God, has often said: “Won’t He Do it.”
