The Mulberry House restaurant and coffee bar in downtown is for sale. 

On Mar. 28, Tony Khoury, a broker and owner of TransWorld Business Advisors, took to social media to announce the sale. It is listed at $550,000. 

Known for its casual but refined dining experience and rooftop waterfront views, The Mulberry House was opened in 2021 by Mohamed and Dr. Reem Darar in the 4-story historic Fowle building that has anchored a corner of W. Main Street since 1818. It has operated as a restaurant, coffee bar and event space. 

According to Khoury’s social media post, the Darars plan to renovate the second and third floors, transforming them into a boutique hotel with 16 guest suites. 

“Adding to its appeal, the owners are in the process of completing a boutique hotel on the second and third floors, further solidifying The Mulberry House as a premier destination for events, getaways, and special occasions,” the social media post shares.
