Jerry Wayne Burrow, age 76, of Hodges Road, Chocowinity, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Providence Cemetery, Hwy. 33, Chocowinity, NC with Gary Bateman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Jerry was born on September 29, 1948, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Harold Burrow and Patsy Chamberline Burrow. Jerry was a 1967 graduate of Central High School in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Jerry was married to Patsy Ree Porter in 1984, she preceded him in death in 2007. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In his earlier years, Jerry and Patsy loved going to races, fishing and being with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Diane Lilley, stepson, Donald “Pete” Bullock, sister, Geraldine B. Bailey, brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, and James Burrow.

Jerry served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He worked at Singer Furniture Co. for many years, he retired from Hackney & Sons in Washington. Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jerry was a God-fearing man that loved his family and his country.

Survivors include his grandson, Arick Bullock of the home, his children, Jerry Burrow (Penny) of Mobile, Alabama, Jodie Burrow of Trumann, Arkansas and Crystal Burrow of Trumann, Arkansas, stepchildren, Donna Edwards and Sherrie Bullock of Washington, and Janet Jones of Chocowinity, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
