Northside second, Southside fourth at CPC meet

MINNESOTT BEACH, N.C. — The Northside golf team placed second with all four golfers finishing in the top 10 at a Coastal Plains Conference meet at Minnesott Golf & Country Club on Monday.

Lejeune won the meet with a team score of 363. Northside was second at 375, East Carteret was third at 380, Southside was fourth with a 453 and Pamlico County had a 459.

PJ Lefebvre earned medalist honors with a round of 81. The freshman was joined in the top three by senior Finn Diller of East Carteret (83) and Northside freshman Tyler Radcliffe (88).

Other Northside golfers who factored in the team score were Lawson Goltra (8th, 94), Landon Moore (9th, 96) and Max Vansant (10th, 97). Southside’s golfers who factored in the team score were Avery Dixon (14th, 106), Mason Hodges (17th, 112), Jordan Grimes-Boone (18th, 115) and Alex Silva (22nd, 120).
