NCDOT will close SR1725 (Pamlico Beach Road) on Tuesday, April 15; Wednesday, April 16; and Thursday, April 17 in order to replace three failing crosslines. Two of these locations are between SR1724 (Church Road) and SR1764 (Schram’s Beach Road). The third is located just southeast of SR1764 (Schram’s Beach Road). There is no available detour route for these closures. NCDOT will coordinate with Beaufort County Emergency Management and there will be provisions on site for emergency vehicles to get around the closure if necessary.
