The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Beaufort County on Monday, April 7.

“Widespread rain and thunderstorms, some of which could bring wind gusts over 50mph will be possible Monday afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rain will be possible with potential for localized flooding of low lying and urban areas.”

On Tuesday night, low temperatures will be in the “low to mid-30s away from the Outer Banks and immediate coast will bring a threat for widespread frost across Eastern North Carolina.”
