United Bank’s Market President, Chris Whitehead, and Branch Manager, Mia Williams, presented a check for $5,000 to Development Council members—Marvin Alligood, Jim Hackney, Stacey Lynch, and Pam Allen—along with Pam Shadle, Director of Marketing and Development at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital. United Bank is the presenting sponsor of Horses, Hats, and Hope, an annual fundraiser supporting the Shepard Cancer Center in its efforts to improve the mind, body, and spirit of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers, as well as to promote cancer prevention and early detection. Horses, Hats, and Hope will take place on Saturday, May 3, at the Washington Yacht and Country Club. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at Stewart’s Jewelry in downtown Washington or online at https://give.ecuhealthfoundation.org/HHH25
