NCDOT to close North Boyd Road for repairs

NCDOT will be closing SR1528 (North Boyd Road), both directions northeast of Washington, on Tuesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in order to replace two failing crossline pipes. These closures are located between SR1526 (Biggs Road) and SR1529 (Beaver Dam Road). Expected backup is medium. Detour: SR1528 (North Boyd Road) to SR1526 (Biggs Road) to NC32 to SR1528 (North Boyd Road).
