Washington’s Janiyah Little second in two hurdle events at EPC meet

Washington’s boys and girls took part in the Eastern Plains Conference meet, which was held on Thursday at West Craven High School.
Janiyah Little finished second in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.50 seconds. She was also second in the 300-meter hurdles in 52.23. The 4×100 girls’ relay team won in 51.63. Aniyah Gilbert was second in the discus with a throw of 92 feet, 10 inches.
On the boys’ side, Trevon Mitchell was third in the 300-meter hurdles (43.97) and fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.73).
