David R. Connor

Mr. David Richards Connor, age 87, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church at a later date.

Mr. Connor was born in Gloucester County, NJ on October 10, 1937 to the late Ethelbert Norris Connor and Marion Purnell Connor. He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in the Fine Arts and Graduated Furman University with his Master’s Degree in Math. Mr. Connor was an avid reader, a member of the Choral Society Choir. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his two children, a son, David Fernandez Connor of Scottsdale, Arizona, a daughter, Monica Aja Korn of Miami, Florida, five grandchildren, Laura Reitsma, Richard Korn, Gregory Graber, Rian Graber, Evan Connor, two great grandchildren, Maksim Graber, Theo Reitsma, three brothers, Andrew B. Connor, Douglas P. Connor, Dennis T. Connor, a sister, Judith Connor Smith.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Allen B. Connor, Anthony C. Connor, and a sister Patricia R. Antonevitch.
