The pairings for the high school baseball and softball state playoffs have been released.

Northside is the No. 18 seed in Class 1A East baseball and goes to No. 15 Falls Lake Academy. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. but was moved to Wednesday at 4 p.m. due to wet fields from storms that moved through the Raleigh area. In Class 2A, Washington is the No. 30 seed and goes to No. 3 Whiteville for a 6 p.m. game.

In Class 1A softball, No. 15 Northside will host No. 18 Pender County on Tuesday at 5 p.m. In Class 2A, No. 13 Washington will host No. 20 Louisburg at 6 p.m.
