BCCC Foundation golf tournament raises scholarship funds

WASHINGTON, N.C.— The Beaufort County Community College Foundation hosted its 31st Annual Invitational Golf Tournament for Scholarships, welcoming dozens of local golfers and community sponsors for a day of friendly competition and fundraising at Cypress Landing Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament will help the Foundation provide scholarships to BCCC students in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Foundation expressed appreciation to all participating teams and to the tournament’s sponsors, including Nutrien, Lee Chevrolet, Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Flatlands Insurance, and Morris Insurance. Their support plays a vital role in helping students achieve their educational and career goals.
“This event is always a highlight for our Foundation, not only because it brings the community together, but because it directly supports our students,” said Serena Sullivan, Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

• First Flight winners: The Octogenarians (Rob Cameron, Larry Everett, David McLawhorn, George Sloan)
• Second Flight winners: Lee Chevrolet (Chris Bullock, Randy Bullock, Larry Lee, Rita Lee)
• Women’s Division winners: Rough Riders (Alex Crespi, Liz Dyer, Frances Finch, Susan Hodges)
• High School Division winners: Washington High School (Jared Hudson, Cutler Lee, Thomas Oliver, Ayden Yates)
