The Links at Bayview, the nine-hole golf course that’s been a staple in the small community near Bath, has closed.

Operating manager Richard Glendinning made the decision after trying to work something out with owner Tony Tetterton to keep it open. Glendinning said several issues, including the property’s recent tax evaluation assessment, led to the closure of the course on April 30.

The clubhouse has been emptied, signs have been removed and the golf carts are no longer in use.

Glendinning said he’s been busy working in and around the property to remove everything associated with the golf course.
