Frances H. Batts

Frances Haddock Batts, age 94, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Thursday May 22, 2025 at her home.

A private service was held.

Mrs. Batts was born in Pitt County on February 2, 1931 to the late Leon Jefferson Haddock and Kathleen Harrell Haddock. In 1960 she married John Henry Batts. Mrs. Batts worked on her family farm and was a hard worker. She was a lifetime member of Hodges Chapel Church in Chocowinity. She enjoyed gardening and being in her yard.

Survivors include her cousins, Mickey Lane Elks, Eva Jean Dixon and many other cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband John H. Batts and an infant brother.
