Will Snowden permanently close? Board of Education to decide tonight

S.W. Snowden Elementary’s future will be decided tonight by the Beaufort County Board of Education. The board is meeting tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Beaufort County Schools Professional Development Center (845 North Pierce Street, Washington).

Attached to tonight’s meeting agenda are two documents – a study conducted by Beaufort County Schools on closing Snowden and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s School Closing Procedure.
