A Washington woman was found dead by police officers when they conducted a welfare check at approximately 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 7.
Police located Joanna Masters, 54, at 606 McNair Street. Welfare checks, also known as wellness checks, are performed by law enforcement officers when there are concerns about a person’s safety or health.
