On June 13, at approximately 8:31 a.m. the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen fifth wheel toy hauler from A&L RV Sales, located on US Hwy 17 in Chocowinity.
Deputies and detectives responded to the business and learned that a dark in color dually pickup truck entered the property and stole a 2025 Brinkley fifth wheel toy hauler, valued at $215,000, in the early morning hours. The suspects then fled the area with the toy hauler in tow.
Deputies quickly began investigating and coordinating with other agencies. The toy hauler was located at a Pilot truck stop in Kingsland, Georgia by 10 a.m. the same day. With the help of Kingsland Police Department, the toy hauler was recovered for the owner. A short time later, Kingsland Police located the dually truck and detained the two suspects.
As a result of the information gathered between the two agencies, Beaufort County Detectives took out arrest warrants charging 20- year-old Emmanuel Gonzalez, of Florida, and 25-year-old Magdiel Gonzalez, of Texas, with Felony Larceny.
Both were arrested by Officers with the Kingsland Police Department and are currently confined in Georgia awaiting extradition back to North Carolina to face the charges.
