Mary Heath Wall

Mary Heath Wall, 92, of Chocowinity, North Carolina, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 11th, 2025. She was born in Orlando, West Virginia to the late Alton Parker Heath and Mina Finster Heath.

Mary had a gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength that touched everyone who was blessed to know her.

She lived a life full of love, always putting her family and friends before herself. Her home was a place of comfort, filled with laughter, good conversation, and the simple joys of being together. Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting, basket weaving, and gardening.

She is survived by her loving son, Kirk Wall, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Wall; her grandsons, Austin Wall and Brandon Hollis; her brothers, AP Heath and Joe Heath; and many dear nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who cherished her deeply.

Along with her parents, she now joins her beloved husband, Fred B. Wall; her daughters, Tawny Wall Hollis and Shamra Wall Sawyer; her sisters, Irene Wilt, Leona Moneypenny, Jean Summers, Velma Heath; and brother, Clarence Heath, who preceded her in passing.

Mary was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She found great comfort in her faith and shared that quiet grace with those around her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A private gathering will be held to celebrate Mary’s beautiful life.
