Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walker of Hot Springs, Arkansas announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Carol Walker, to Jeremiah Morgan Smith, son of Jennifer Lane-Smith of Searcy, Arkansas and Randy Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Emily is the maternal granddaughter of Naomi Fulcher and the late Sam Fulcher, of Washington Park. Her paternal grandparents are the late Bob and Carrie Dell Walker, also of Washington.
The future bride graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.  There, she also received her Master of Social Work degree in May. Emily is employed as a therapist on the psychiatric unit at Northwest Hospital in Springdale.
The future groom received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Arkansas. He served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for a year before returning to the U of A to complete a Masters degree in Information Systems in May. Morgan is employed as a programmer at J.B. Hunt in Lowell.
The evening wedding will be November 17 in Hot Springs. The couple will reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
