Ms. Peggy Marie (Sawyer) Lee, 73, of Frederick, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 4, 2013.
Born October 24, 1939, in a farmhouse near Bath, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Thornton Sawyer and Mary Clyde Boyd Sawyer. She graduated from Bath High School in 1958 and had a distinguished career as a security analyst with the C.I.A. She retired from service to her country in 2003 to spend time with her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her son, Steve Elgin and his wife Allison Elgin; two grandchildren, Matthew Elgin and Kathleen Elgin; her siblings, Edgar T. Sawyer, Jr., Tom Sawyer and his wife Rhonda, Jean Askew and her husband Glenn, Kenneth Sawyer and his wife Jennifer; and eight nieces and nephews.
