MILESTONES CELEBRATED: The staff at Vidant Family Medicine Chocowinity unveil the new Vidant sign at an open house and 10-year anniversary celebration last month. Ten years ago, Beaufort County Hospital (now Vidant Beaufort Hospital) saw a need to provide primary care on the south side of the Pamlico River and opened this practice with one physician and two other employees. The practice now has three physicians, Drs. Elizabeth York, Nancy Brous and Quoc Phan, along with a mid-level provider Tracey Respess, FNP, and a clinical and administrative support team of 12 employees. The office is located at 740 Bragaw Lane in Chocowinity. It is open Mondays through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The practice is accepting new patients.
