Stephen Lee Brooks, 46, of 449 Magnolia Rd., Washington, died, Sunday June 30, 2013 at Vidant- Beaufort Medical Center, Washington.

Born May 13, 1967, he was the son of Marvin Lee and Glenda Cahoon Brooks. Stephen loved to fish, hunt and was known for his work ethic. He worked as a commercial fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by are a brother, Gregory Allen Brooks, and wife Eyleen and their daughter, Summer Gale Brooks of Swan Quarter; longtime companion of 23 years Reba Sullivan, her children and grandchildren, all of Washington.

No services are scheduled at this time.
