Mrs. Stuart Beckwith Moore of Tarboro, NC is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Mary Kate, to William Martin Purvis.

Martin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Purvis of Tarboro, NC.

Kate is also the daughter of the late Stuart Beckwith Moore and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore R. Day and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Henry Moore, both of Washington, NC.

The wedding is planned for October 12, 2013 at Calvary Episcopal Church, Tarboro, NC
