Old Ford Ruritans hand out scholarships

ERNIE COLEMAN | CONTRIBUTED WINNERS ALL AROUND: Earlier this summer, Old Ford Ruritan Club presented nine college scholarships to area students during its annual scholarship awards ceremony. Each student received $400 to use during the 2013-2014 academic year towards tuition to further their education at a college of their choice. The slogan of Ruritan is “Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service.” Each Ruritan Club surveys the needs of its community and then works to meet those needs.
