Mr. William Stanley Alston, 95, of 2315 Harrison Road, Williamston (Bear Grass community), died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at his home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial follows in Edgewood Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at the funeral home, which is in charge of arrangements, and after the committal service at the home.
