Megan Leigh Hollowell and Stuart Levin Alligood, were united in marriage on April 27, 2013, at 5 p.m. on the front lawn of the Wilkinson Center, Belhaven, N.C.  The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Craig Hagan.

The bride is the daughter of Bryan & Sherry Hollowell of Pinetown. She is the granddaughter of Clifton and Janice Davenport and Mildred L. Hollowell and the late Clarence W. Hollowell Sr., all of Belhaven.  The bride is a graduate of Northside High School and Pitt Community College. She is employed with Washington Wellness Center and Dr. J. H. Chesson/Dr. Lee Lewis, Washington .

The bridegroom is the son of Randy and Sheila Alligood of Washington.  He is the grandson of Levin and Christine Alligood of Washington.  The groom is a graduate of Northside High School and is employed with Alligood Brothers Logging

Escorted by her father, Bryan Lee Hollowell, the bride wore an all-over beaded lace, ivory lace overlay with champagne underlay trumpet gown with plunging neckline and plunging open back with empire waist with cap sleeves and chapel train.

The bride wore in her hair a handmade Austrian swarovski crystal and fresh-water pearl hair comb.

Her bouquet was a mix of spring flowers

Maid of honor was Rachel Marie Hollowell, sister of the bride, of Pinetown

Bridesmaids were Alexandra Marie Adams of Bath, Allison Faith Midgette, cousin of the bride, of Plymouth, and Kimberly Noel Clayton of Belhaven.

Wedding music was provided by D.J. Julio Morales.  Vocalist was Rodney M. Midgette, uncle of the Bride.

The wedding was directed by Linda J. Beddard and Marie J. Adams.

A reception was held at the Wilkinson Center in Belhaven. The rehearsal dinner was held at Fish Hooks Cafe in Belhaven.
