Mr. Gene Modlin Jr., 70, of 1366 Wendell Modlin Road, Jamesville, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Cedar Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Weaver and Mike Llewellyn officiating. Burial follows in Jamesville Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the church. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
