Mr. Paul Jerome Comegys, 79, of 22 Magnolia Way, Grantsboro, and formerly of Aurora, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association’s headquarters building with the Rev. Sterling W. Tripp officiating. Interment with military honors takes place in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, immediately following the service. Viewing will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, New Bern, which is in charge of arrangements.
