Mr. Clifton Blount, 71, of 515 Simmons Street in Washington, died Sunday, April 6, 2014. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Bethel Chapel Ministries. The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Sonia Carpenter of 501 West 13^th Street in Washington and on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Whitfield and Whitley Chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield and Whitley Funeral Home.
