BEAUFORT COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE | CONTRIBUTED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: BCCC faculty and staff had the opportunity to attend a series of 10 professional development workshops on the college campus earlier this week under the direction of Learning Resources Center Director Penny Sermons. They included topics such as the workings of the human brain, recording lectures for student use, accessibility in online courses and advising, among others. Pictured, attendees heard a report on BCCC's role in the local economy and economic development led by the county's Economic Development Director Bob Heuts.
