The children followed a walking trail on a self-guided tour through the park, which took them through different regions of the world, enabling them to learn about and see all kinds of different species of birds native to Africa, South and North America, Eurasia and Australia. They were able to get close to the animals and some birds even walked beside them. The children were also able to converse with a parrot.
