A.R. PETERS, III | CONTRIBUTED ACCOLADES: Richard (Richi) Peters has been appointed adjunct assistant professor with the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.  Richi graduated from Washington High School in 1989, received a degree in biology and graduated from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 1996.  He has been pharmacy manager at Glen Raven Pharmacy in Burlington for 15 years. His duties will include continued precepting of students in the his pharmacy, lecturing at the school, application evaluation and interview of pharmacy school applicants, pharmacy school recruiting, journal submissions, research, and/or participation on committees as requested. Richi has worked hard promoting community wellness through personal service and providing information on and performing vaccinations.  He has precepted students in the pharmacy for 7 years as an adjunct instructor, now reappointed as based on past performance and continued commitment to the education of future pharmacists.   The University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy is currently ranked 2nd in the nation for pharmacy schools, and Richi is proud to continue his association with such a prestigious program. Richi is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Peters, III, formally of Washington Park.  Richi, his wife Melanie, and his 9-year-old son, Gus, live in Burlington.
