Mrs. Shirley Gray Buck Page, age 80, a resident of 1748 NC Hwy. 33 E., Chocowinity, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, September 8, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Rev. Henry Horne. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Page was born in Beaufort County on February 1, 1934 to the late James and Ella Godley Buck.  She was a 1952 graduate of Chocowinity High School. On September 26, 1952 she married Kenneth Leon Page, Sr. who survives. She was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Pamlico Senior Citizens Club and the NC Retired Governmental Employee’s Association. Mrs. Page gave 31 years of service as a teacher’s assistant with the Beaufort County School system.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Page, Sr. of the home, one daughter, Terrie Elaine Page of Greenville, four sons, Kenneth “Leon” Page, Jr. and wife Cindie of Winterville, Glen Page and wife Patricia of Black Jack, Russell Page and wife Mary Jane of Tarboro, Randall Page and wife Brenda of West Virginia, one sister, Lou B. Branch and husband Doug of Chocowinity, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and three brothers, William “Bud” Buck, Dalton Buck and James Buck.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
