BELHAVEN PUBLIC LIBRARY | CONTRIBUTED SUMMER READING WINNERS: Each year, the teens from the Belhaven community attend a week long camp for the Teen Reading Program. This year’s theme, “Spark a Reaction” went over very well with the teens. The week was filled with an author presentation, art, book discussion, kayaking, movie-making and science experiments. Each teen was given a card to rate the book they read including writing a short synopsis. The cards were then placed into a drawing. The Teen Reading Program award goes to Raven Lilley, the granddaughter of Maria Lilley of Pinetown. Raven received a $25 gift card to Hot Topic. Way to go, Raven!
