During the month of October dogs and puppies, at the Shelter, will have an adoption fee of $40 each. This fee includes spaying/neutering, the first round of shots, a microchip and worming, for each dog adopted. This is a reduced fee with the remainder paid by the Humane Society of Beaufort County.

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Meet our Daisy, a 1-year and eight-month-old, spayed female, with a microchip and an adoption fee of $15. This sweet dog is smart, friendly, calm, very affectionate, playful, loves people and interacting with them. She’s a Terrier, American Pit Bull-mix, and her shorthair coat displays a stunning graphic design in black and white. This great girl is ready to go to her good forever home where she will be a wonderful addition. She’s available through Saturday.

 

BIANCA

Say hi to Bianca, our beautiful, 1-year-old, female cat. A domestic shorthair, Bianca wears her attractively sleek coat of ebony black, which sets off her huge golden eyes beautifully. The demeanor of this sweet girl is very gentle and calm, loving and playful. Bianca will be a great pet with all ages in a good forever home. Come to the Shelter and spend a little time and see for yourself what a great cat Bianca is.
