The meeting was called to Order  by Ruby Manning at 7:30 PM.
Members present were:
Karen Ball, Obed Brabble, Ben Davis, Brandy Dixon, Jeff Edwards, Buddy Harris,
Lynda Harris, Carlton Manning, Ruby Manning, John Nacke, Bruce Rabon, Goldie
Rabon, Carolyn Tyson, Harold Tyson, Dan Wallace, Bryan Weatherington, Phyllis
Weatherington, Freeman Weiner.  For a total of 18 members.
The song “America” was sung by the members.  Invocation was by Buddy Harris.
We had a meal of Spinach Salad , Lasagna, Fruit Salad, rolls and sweets.  The meal was prepared by Ben Davis and Obed Brabble.
Then the minutes were read from the Sept 9th meeting.  A motion was made by Carolyn Tyson and seconded by Buddy Harris to approve as read.  They were approved by the membership.
A comittee was appointed by Ruby Manning to select the Ruritan of the year.  They are are
Phyllis Weatherington, Bryan Weatherington, and Ruby Manning.
We had two applications for membership – Karen Kay Ball and Goldie Rabon.  A Motion was
made by Buddy Harris and seconded by Carlton Manning to accept these two into our
membership.  The Motion was voted on and approved.  We welcome Karen Ball and Goldie
Rabon into our Ruritan Club.
The treasure report was made by Harold Tyson.  A motion was made by Bruse Rabon and seconded by Carlton Manning to approve as read.  The motion was approved.
Phyllis Weatherington passed out a flyer to remind us of our upcoming Annual Christmas  Dinner is to be held at Deadwood Restaurant in Bear Grass on Mondy December 1st.
The Ruritan Club will be working with the Savation Army on November 29th to be  ring the Bell at different locations throughout the City.  Buddy Harris is to coordinate this effort.
A motion was made by Carolyn Tyson and seconded by Ruby Manning to buy two Bicycles and two helmets for Toys For Tots again this year.  The motion was passed.
With no other business, a motion was made by Buddy harris and seconded by Jeff Edwards to adjourn.  We said the “Pledge of Allegiance” and we were dismissed at 8″30 PM by Ruby Manning.
