Mr. Hubert Whitaker, 90, of 1096 Park Place, Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Swan Quarter, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015. A funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Star Zion Disciple Church of Christ; burial will follow at Fairfield Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, from noon to 1 p.m. at Star Zion, prior to the service. Arrangements are by Blair Funeral Service of Edenton.
