HENRY L. GIBBS
Jan. 1, 1951 – April 15, 2015

Henry Lane Gibbs, 64, of 305 Roper Lane, Engelhard, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born in Belhaven, N. C., January 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Floyd Guy and Nina Way Cuthrell Gibbs.  Henry graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in History was an entrepreneur and owned and operated “Such & Stuff Collectibles for over 30 years, worked as a commercial fisherman and enjoyed collecting items of all kinds. He also enjoyed participating in Civil War Reenactment Events.
A funeral service will be held at the family plot in Soule Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Saturday where he will be buried next to his grandmother.  Steve Bryan will officiate.
Surviving are a brother, F. G. Gibbs and wife, Beverly of Engelhard; an aunt, Carolyn Cutrell of Fairfield; three nieces and nephews, Mark Wayne Hodges of Engelhard, Nina Bell Gibbs Sauer and husband, Jason of Pittsburgh, PA and Floyd Lane Gibbs and wife, Brittany of Engelhard; 4 great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home.
