SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Pantego Ruritan Club President Neil Bowen recently presented a $1,000 scholarship to Hayden Tankard, a Northside High School senior. Hayden will attend The Citadel Military College in Charleston, SC in the fall. Pantego Ruritan has given $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors this year. The club funds its scholarship program by quarterly Bingo games, donations and monthly pancake and sausage breakfasts, held every third Saturday of the month. On May 16, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., club members will be serving hot pancakes and sausage at the Pantego Ruritan Club building in Pantego.
